Steve’s first build was “Blackie”, a black cast iron with a sidecar for our son, Ian, to ride in. Soon after starting Arcadia Cushan, he started building at least one custom scooter a year to highlight his latest accessories and technology. Tim Chenoweth, a family friend helping at one of our first meets in Portland named the first custom scooter, LuluBelle. Since then it has become tradition to name each scooter and end each name in “Belle”. Most of the new owners keep the bike’s name and continue this fun tradition!
