This is what happens when a hobby gets out of control. Steve Lorenz restored his first 1957 Cushman Eagle for his father and then one for a neighbor. When Ray Gabbard of Portland, Indiana decided to retire from the Cushman parts business after 30 years, Steve and his wife Lisa decided to buy it and move it to their small town in central Indiana. Arcadia Cushman opened in July of 1997. Now Steve works at a job that is also his passion.
